Hossegor is one of the most consistent surf breaks in France. The best time for surfing is between May and October when the winter swell and spring tides calm down and the water is warmer. From September to October, the waves start getting bigger and there are fewer crowds.
If you are looking for big barrels, the time to visit is between November and April. This season is best suited for advanced surfers, as it will require more paddling.
Culs-nus beach is renowned worldwide for the quality of its waves and the beauty of the wild beach and swimming in water heated by the gulf stream in summer. You will find everything you need on the beach: surf schools, restaurants and a supervised swimming area from June to September from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
You can access the beach by road (free public parking) or by the cycle path. There's a free shuttle service throughout the summer that serves the town centers of Hossegor/Seignosse and the beach. (YEGO).
We will meet at Hossegor Surf House and we will coach/guide you through the best spots according to your surf experience and the conditions of the day.
If you need help arranging accommodations, we can assist you. We have partnerships with two Airbnbs properties, both with great structure and walking distance from the beach, restaurants, markets, and other activities in the region.
Prices per night start at USD 90.
