The surf
The Basque Country is still a Mecca for European surfers. Its (usually) clean shore breaks and consistent year-round swells cater to surfers of all levels. The best times to travel are late fall and early spring when you're most likely to get the consistent and clean waist-to-head-high waves - what this area is known for.
The lodge
Our hostel is located in the heart of the city and right in front of “La Zurriola” beach, completely equipped with all you need to chill out with the best vibes, enjoy the ocean and explore the city.
No matter what your surf level is, we will provide you with a whole range of surfboards per your needs. Placed next to the best surf spot in the city, it's, without doubt, the best hostel for those looking to make the most of the great waves San Sebastián has to offer. It’s also very close to the old part of town and the city center, where all the famous Basque "pintxo" bars and restaurants are, and there are plenty of great shops and bars all around.
Whether you're here to surf or not, there is everything you need to have a brilliant stay. We have nice bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen where you can eat a great breakfast before starting your day, and expansive rooms with comfortable beds so that you can enjoy a good night's sleep.
