The surf
Playa Tamarindo and this section of Costa Rica are blessed with great waves for surfers of every level. Playa Tamarindo offers great beginner and intermediate waves, and there are plenty of other breaks nearby for advanced surfers. Depending on your level, our surf instructors will take you to the perfect spot for you.
The water in Costa Rica is warm year-round (about 80 degrees), so travelers don't need a wetsuit. Very occasionally, the water temperature will fall to the 70s due to offshore wind in the dry season (December to March).

Seafari Costa Rica was established in 2009 in Playa Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Its founder Alejandro Aguilar (Ale) was born and raised in Costa Rica, and his love of Guanacaste and the surrounding areas, coupled with a passion for wildlife and surfing.
Ale has worked in the tourism industry for more than two decades, providing highly personalized, quality vacation plans to single travelers, groups, and families. His outstanding dedication to customer service and professionalism, backed up by high standards of safety and a continued commitment to “going the extra mile” for his guests, assure them the very best experience of Costa Rica’s rich culture and environment.
