Peniche has the most consistent and biggest variety of waves anywhere in the country. We have a varied coastline, formed over time as the islands of Peniche and Baleal joined to the mainland, creating peninsulas with beaches facing in different directions. No matter the swell or wind direction, there's always a place to surf here.

The world-class beach break of Supertubos is here and it was made famous as a WSL Championship Tour stop in 2009. But don't worry if you are a beginner: the surrounding area has a multitude of waves for all levels, mostly breaking over sand, making this one of the best places to learn to surf.

Summertime is the best time for beginners since the waves are smaller and the temperature is warmer. We get big swells during the winter and that's when most intermediate and advanced surfers can find the best waves, but there are also great spots for those who just want to learn to surf and learn a new skill.

Our main surf camp has a shared kitchen, common areas, and three rooms, all of them with private bathrooms. Two of the rooms can accommodate 3 people and the other one can accommodate 4. All of them can be booked as a shared or as a private room (upon availability and depending on group size).

We are in a great location and close to the best surf spots. This will help you get to surf faster and not waste time with the commute. Besides our main surf camp, we also have partnerships with lodges nearby to better accommodate bigger groups. We check all lodgings frequently to ensure quality, so unpleasant surprises don't occur. You will love the chilled atmosphere of our accommodations and the multicultural exchanges. Guests arrive from all corners of the world, so you may share experiences with different people from different cultures.

Don't miss the waves just because you don't have the equipment. Drop by our store and check our wetsuit and surfboard rental in Peniche. You can also rent a skate or a bike at our shop so you can have as much fun on land as at sea.

How many times did you want to catch some waves but couldn't because you had no board? That's why we have launched our surfboard rental in Peniche service. All you have to do is stop by our shop with an ID card, fill up the form and you are ready to go! So that nothing can come between you and the waves! We also have wetsuits, skates and bicycles available.
