Why surf Fiji?
While Nadi and the busy towns of Viti Levu are often considered the hub of Fiji, the world-famous waves at Cloudbreak and surrounding breaks are what surfers call “Country.” A tight-knit community of locals and surf travelers lines the postcard-perfect coastline. Whether you paddle out past the reef, watch traditional Fijian ceremonies on the shore, or soak up the laid-back island lifestyle between sessions, Fiji’s waves offer more than just surf—they’re a gateway to an authentic culture and unforgettable ocean adventure.
The Bula Spirit
Inia Nakalevu is a recognised leader in Fiji’s surf community. He has represented Fiji in competitions around the world and was also selected as a WSL wildcard to surf the Fiji Pro in past events. His Bula spirit shines every time he enters the water, and the respect he commands is evident when he surfs his home break of Cloudbreak. If you’re lucky enough to come to Fiji and have Inia as your lead guide, your in for an absolute treat!
