Why surf Maldives?
The Maldives is a world-class surfing destination, renowned for its uncrowded waves, offering surfers a sense of exclusivity and tranquility. The archipelago boasts a diverse range of surf breaks, from powerful lefts and rights to punchy barrels and long top-to-bottom leg burners. Beyond the waves, the Maldives offers pristine waters and stunning island landscapes, making it not only a top surf spot but an island paradise to immerse yourself in.
Glen is an ASI certified surf instructor with 15+ years experience in over 7 countries. He is the director of the Surfer Development Programs here with Thermal as well as being our lead guide for the Ultimate SDP in the Mentawais and the Dream Boat charter in the Maldives. He has a wealth of knowledge of waves around the world and an incredible coach and guide based in Cabo.




Your floating resort
This dream boat can accommodate up to 20 guests in 15 luxurious cabins and suites. With 7
cabins and 8 suites tastefully decorated and all with sea view or port-lights. Couples will be given a free room upgrade (Subject to avalibility), with singles allocated a cabin with a room upgrade available.

How well do I need to surf?
This trip is designed for intermediate and advanced surfers. We will surf many different types of reef breaks including lefts, rights, barreling waves and easy top top bottom waves. All surf session will be accompanied by our surf guides in the water ensuring your comfortable in each linup.
I’m a non surfer, can I still join the trip?
Absolutely! This is not just a surf trip but an adventure trip where non surfers have access to daily snorkel trips, diving, fishing, SUPs, Spa facilities. Non Surfers are $4950 can can be booked directly with out thermal team.
How do room upgrades work?
Rooms are allocated on a first in basis. Couples will be allocated a free room upgrade to one of our suites (subject to avalibility). Single room upgrades are $500.
Should I bring my own boards?
Yes, most airlines will allow you to bring your boards over up to around 8’6 (check with your airline). Also bring spare fins, leg-ropes, wax, grub screws as there are no surf shops out there!
What’s not included?
Flights & drinks are not included.
Passport Validity
Your passport must have at least 6 months validity from the date of departure.
Will I get seasick?
As this is a very large vessel you don’t tend to notice the movement. There can be instances when crossing between atolls that it can get rough so we do recommend people bringing medication for motion sickness just incase.

How do i get there?
Guests are to fly into Male airport (MLE) in the Maldives. You will be met by boat staff and our surf guides upon your arrival and depart from the dock (Which is next to the airport) at 12pm. Please ensure that your flight lands no later than 10.30am. On our last day we will have an 8.30am checkout return to the airport/dock at 9am.
