Josh created Saffa Tours because he wanted to give people a customized, local experience of South Africa. He strives to ensure we go beyond the tourist traps to allow people to leave with more than just photographs and souvenirs.

In a wave-rich region where waves are on 365 days a year, Josh's extensive knowledge and network allows him to know what wave will be best on the day. You will head out on a surf mission every day whilst exploring the Souther Edge of Africa, its wildlife, scenery, rich culture, and cuisine.

Outside of surf missions, before and after will be time at leisure where you may spend relaxing at your beachfront accommodation, on the beach, exploring the village of Kommetjie on foot, or further if you have your form of transport.

Both options are based in Kommetjie. Kommetjie is a great base as there are many surf spots of all types within a 30 min drive and it is rich in surf culture.
