Mandiri Beach is centrally located to all the other breaks in the area and is, without a doubt, the place with the most consistent conditions to surf. Exposed to all swells, it is never flat and always packs a punch. The waves come from deep water, breaking onto shallow sandbanks, providing us with hollow, long reeling walls.

We often have days where we can surf double overhead point breaks in the morning and super fun, head-high slabs in the afternoon. We include surf guides with every trip, to make sure you get it right every time.

We offer Krui’s exclusive selection of Private Villas. With air-conditioned rooms, wifi, a swimming pool and room service, each of our 6 villas is fully equipped to provide our guests the best possible experience while staying with us. We also include a Villa Manager in each reservation, who is ready to help during your entire stay.

Activities

Krui town hosts two food markets, a fishing harbor and a street of shops supplying the residents with everything they need. Walking around the sleepy town feels like you've stepped back in time. On either side of Krui, you'll find vast stretches of untouched coastline. Palm tree's for as far as the eye can see, shadowing an array of stunning, white-sand beaches.

The nearby Banana Island has been a popular day trip for our guests. The island has some of the most transparent waters and the most beautiful beaches in the area. A delicious lunch prepared by a local family is available upon request.

Most of the reefs provided exceptions for snorkeling. Cheap, low-quality equipment is available in town. However, we recommend you bring your own.

With the national park on our doorstep, we have a few different treks available. Short, 20 minute walks, to half-day outings - delving into to think Sumatran jungle. Almost all the treks available lead to waterfalls.

Zimzala 1

This modern-style two-bedroom villa overlooks Mandiri Beach, with panoramic views of the rice fields from behind. Whether you're relaxing by the pool at the back or drinking a cold beer at the surf-proof tower out front, it's hard not to feel entirely at home at Villa Zimzala. Villa Ono

Villa Ono Offers stunning rice field views with Mandiri Beach on its doorstep, built with privacy and freedom in mind. Ideal for groups of friends or small families looking for a luxurious getaway. There are four rooms available. All rooms are equipped with en-suite, air conditioning, hot shower, fridge, ample storage space and a front terrace. Behind the rooms and nestled among lush tropical gardens - guests will enjoy a private pool, bar, dining area and lounge area. Surf villa

Four-bedroom Villa, in Tanjung Setia. This property offers four spacious en-suite bedrooms, an open plan kitchen/living area, an entertainment room and a large garden with a bar located in front of the beach and equipped with BBQ facilities. The front of the Villa overlooks fields of coconut trees as far as the eye can see, and the back faces an untouched white sand beach. After the success of the first two years of Villa Zimzala, we bring you Zimzala 2.0 Mirroring the design of the first Zimzala, the 2.0 version boasts two beautiful rice field view bedrooms downstairs with an additional master bedroom facing the ocean upstairs. The large infinity pool is at the front of the villa overlooking the ocean. Villa Segara is our largest private accommodation available with Krui Villas. The villa is situated on top of the huge property with views of the rice fields from the pool at the back and views of Mandiri Beach from the front. This villa is also built on half-hectare land, so the garden surrounding the villa is perfect for enjoying with a large family. Our villas are managed by three surfers - Tim, Chris and Dan. The three of us are here all year, surfing all day and having a few beers with the crew at night. We love living this life all year round.

After spending some years running the Mandiri Beach Club, we realized some travelers would prefer to have a more private and secluded accommodation where they could spend time with family and friends. That's when we started to provide private Villas for our guests, so they could still surf and enjoy the beauty of Krui, but in an intimate accommodation style.
