EC Surfers

The irregular coastline of Ecuador offers points and beaches, reefs and river mouths facing directly into the Pacific Ocean. Many of these spots are open to swell from northerly and southerly directions. The south coast faces southwest, the central coast faces west and the north coast faces northwest. Given the curvature of the coastline, southern Ecuador has mainly right points and northern Ecuador mainly left points. In between, there is a great mix of beach breaks that offer miles of empty peaks.

The best surf time in Ecuador is from January through the end of May. This time of the year is when the weather is best, offering glassy/offshore winds in the mornings and gets swell from the central and north Pacific.

This adventure starts at the moment of arrival. We will pick you up from the airport and drive to the coast, where our trip will take place. The first day will be exploring the area and maybe already going for the first surf session.

Your days will start with a fresh coffee and a dawn patrol search for the first waves of the day. After being surfed out, we will grab a delicious and healthy breakfast followed by a yoga or some skateboard session in our private bowl, depending on your preference.

In the afternoon, we will go for our second surf session and search for the best waves. After some epic surf, you will be able to rest or do some sightseeing, as you wish.

In the evening it is possible to go searching for some fun in the town and go partying or to chill and have a nice BBQ.

If you are interested in doing other activities during your stay, just let us know! We can take you snorkeling, fishing, diving, hiking, bike riding or to visit some cultural places.

A perfect beach house located on a mountain surrounded by trees with a great ocean view. Our house has a big backyard with a pool and a cabin with a great BBQ spot. It is located in a private area 30 minutes from Montañita, approximately 25 minutes from Los Frailes, and 15 minutes from Puerto López. With a lot of surf available in front in a 5-10 min drive.
