Intermediate: Cabo

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Intermediate

4 days / 3 nights

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Up to 4 surfers

Take your skills to the next level in Thermal's Intermediate Surfer Development Program. This immersive 4 day program provides in-water coaching, photo/video analysis, and a 2:1 student-to-instructor ratio. We will focus on each surfers target area of development whether that be positioning, manoeuvrability, bottom turns, forehand/backhand rotations and more.

Elevate your technique on consistent waves

15 hours of in-water training and video analysis with our veteran instructors allow intermediates to level up their technique. The clean, consistent waves of Cabo’s East Cape provide plenty of reps to practice.

Coaching from a veteran guide

Meet Coach Glen Gaudion, an ASI certified surf instructor with 15+ years experience in 7 countries. He’s one of Thermal’s go-to Mexico guides and has been living in Cabo for the past 5 years.

Surf Cabo's legendary East Cape

Cabo’s East Cape provides a wealth of uncrowded, pristine waves – from the long right-hand point-breaks of Nine Palms to the fast top to bottom waves at Shipwrecks.

Stay in a modern coastal gem

You’ll stay in a vibrant coastal hotel with modern design, ocean-inspired decor, a king size bed, A/C, patio, and hotel pool access. It’s a short walk to the beach, gourmet dining, and lively nightlife. Transport to and from the hotel is a breeze to maximize your time in the water.

We've got you covered

From airport pick-up/drop-off to equipment (boards, rash tops, wetsuits) to a photographer for surf analysis, we’ll set up everything so you can focus on catching waves and relaxing between sessions.

Hotel Six Two Four is located in a perfect area near the heart of San Jose, close to restaurants, bars, cafes and just a stones through away from the beach.

We’ll pick you up from the hotel every day, and you’ll have 2-3 surf sessions on full days and one session on both arrival & departure days. We’ll also have a beach set-up with umbrellas, snacks, and cold drinks so you can relax between sessions.

Our team will provide all equipment, including surfboards, rash tops, and wetsuits. No need to bring anything with you!

Our photographer will capture you in action! This footage also helps break down your surf skills so we can analyze where you’re doing great and areas that we can work on.

We’ll pick you up and drop you off at Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), which is a 30 minute drive from the hotel. Airport pickup will be at 1pm so plan to have your flight land before 12pm. Airport drop-off will be at 12pm.

Cabo is probably safer than most cities. The people are amazing and you’re perfectly safe walking around at night visiting the different cafés, bars and restaurants.

What equipment do I need to bring?

If your after a specific length/volume board, please let us know in advanced so we can source it before your arrival. In the colder months of April/May, we suggest you bring a 2mm or 3/2mm wetsuit for the early morning sessions.
