Our Story
We started Thermal for ourselves and our friends. The options for surf trips are endless, but we’ve always found it hard to know which ones are worth the effort. We’ve also experienced plenty of frustration trying to make these trips happen in the past. Whether it’s wiring money around the world, spending hours on the phone with travel agents, or struggling to change or cancel a trip — there’s clearly room for improvement. When the pandemic hit, we decided to get to work creating the kind of travel company we’d want to use, and Thermal was born. It’s early days for us, but we’re working tirelessly to deliver on our promise to make surf travel more rewarding and inclusive, and a whole lot less painful.
