Lovely left and right-handers, perfect for all surfing levels. Here, you can figure out which is your favorite way to surf. Smaller reef sections together with sandy areas provide a clean wave, which is great news for beginner surfers!

How well do I need to surf?
This guided trip is designed for intermediate surfers who are comfortable surfing independently, as it’s not instructional. In November, the peak swell season hasn’t arrived yet, making for gentler, more friendly, and fun waves. How long will we surf each day?
You’ll have 2-3 surf sessions per day (except arrival/departure days). Most sessions are 1 – 2 hours depending on how much energy you have. On the rest day, midway through, there’s an option to surf an evening session if time allows after a day of exploring.
How many surfers will be in the group?
We’ll have a maximum of 6 and a minimum of 2. Come solo or bring friends!

What airport do I fly into?
We’ll pick you up and drop you off at Agadir Airport (AGA), which is an hour drive from the hotel. For an additional fee, transfers can be arranged from other Marrakesh Airport (RAK), approx. 3.5 hours away. Airport pick ups will be at 3:00 pm, so plan to have your flight land at least an hour prior to pick up times. Airport drop off will be by 1 pm, so you’ll want your flight to leave after 2 pm.
I’m a solo traveler, is it safe?
Yes, Taghazout is a very safe city, there are many surf travelers. The people are amazing and you’re perfectly safe walking around at night visiting the different cafés, bars and restaurants. Always good to be a smart traveler. For women, it is recommended that you dress modestly in the community.
What equipment do I need to bring?
Foamie boards are included. Hard boards are available for rent if you prefer. Sun protection, sun hats, and rash guards are recommended. The water is warm, but you might want to bring a wetsuit if you prefer. Leave your camera at home, a professional photographer will be in tow to document the entire trip.
What’s not included?
Flights and meals are not included. Maryam will take you to incredible local restaurants but you’ll need to cover costs. Expect to spend about $10 or less for breakfast/lunch and $25 for a nice dinner.
Can I book a private session?
Absolutely. Contact us if you’re interested in private groups, different dates, or different accommodations.
OK, how much?
The trip costs $1,995 per person based on double occupancy. If you are traveling solo (or with a companion but want separate rooms), there is a $500 additional fee. You can cancel anytime 60 days prior to the trip’s start date for a full refund including your deposit.
What are the 2024 trip dates?
Trips are scheduled for Nov 4 – 10 and Dec 2 – 8. Contact us if you’re interested in going but would like different dates.
What can I expect for weather and conditions?
Average swell height will be 3-4 feet. Air temp will be around 81°F, hot during the day, bring a sweater for cool mornings and evenings. Water temp will be around 65°F.
